1. This kit is awesome

   So I installed the lowering kit by myself in about 5 hours front and rear together. Everything lines up great. The only thing off when on the alignment rack was the toe. the toe was pushed out by about 1/8 to 1/4 inch what alignment guy said. The only problem I've had is the Aluminum protection plate for the gas tank rubs on the Driveshaft right at the rear axle. So I bent a little bit of the plate with some pliers and no issues from then on. The other thing I've seen, which I was prepared for was the spring rate and/or stiffness is softer then stock. The length of springs are exactly the same so be prepared. I bought the helper bags with the kit to help with this when I'm towing or have a load in the bed. Its only and extra 100 smacks just buy it you wont be sorry. Don't sag its unattractive. lol
   I love the product came with everything for the R/T truck. So if I want to all I need to buy is a salvage rear sway bar and parts to have a tight rear end.
   2017 Ram 1500 Express single cab short bed. This bad girl now turns heads and has people talking.

   I have to say im disappointed. I installed my 2" 4" deluxe kit on my '12 about 2.5 yrs ago. With only about 20k miles on the rd, I had never expected to see the springs fail so badly (stacked coils and one cracked thru!) in such short time. I contacted Mcgaughys directly to see if they could offer any help.... There first comment when we talked was how terrible my springs looked.......... Yes I agree, thats why I called and sent them pics Even w/ the coatings failing and allowing surface rust to lift the powdercoat, this had nothing to do w/ the failure of the metal. Ive been a machinist for 20yrs and work for the navy in a metal testing lab , we kinda know about corrosion and metal fatigue. There angle was that the rd salt had rusted to springs to the point of failure???????????? If this truly is a rare failure (sometimes things just do happen)., the thought of mcgaughys not wanting to stand behind there product is really sad. I dont normally do feedback for parts that I buy, but I will make an exception this time I was offered another set of springs @ full price + shipping ($187). Nope, ill pass on that deal

3. 2016 1500 Ram Stinger

   I was worried about tire rub since my truck's factory tires are 285/45R22 but there still plenty of clearance. I actually wish the kit came in a 4/6 drop as well it looks like it would fit easily. Front tires do stick out a little more, but not enough to notice a difference with the scale of the rest of the truck. I am glad I went with the better kit instead trying to cheap out and by just the springs the front spindles look much stronger than the factory.
   
   Customer service / Sales group is great, they explained everything well and made me feel comfortable enough that I was able to do the install including the air spring helpers over a day in my garage on jack stands.

   Put this kit on my 2014 ram 1500 express Standard cab. Installation is pretty straightforward. The front spindles went on as advertised with minimal difficulty. More getting the ball joint to drop than anything else. Rear springs were a breeze. The pan hard bracket went on fairly easily. The overall look of the truck is great. After the alignment the truck handles and rides great. Definitely less body roll with cornering. It is true that your wheels on the front do you stick out a bit more but it's acceptable.

   Trusted name, great R&D to make a complete and correct lowering product for the new RAM. Only one thing could make this a 5 star perfect product, and I understand it's not part of a "lowering" kit; the upgraded beefier front sway bar from H***wig. Ride and alignment are great, but the front end, left to right sway-wobble is bad. Be the perfect, budget friendly, "Sport truck" lowering kit at that point. Great product all around guys!

6. Still Great after 3 years

   I put this kit on my 2013 Ram Sport right after I got it. I was concerned that the spindles would be difficult to get in, but they were actually easier than the rear springs. Had the dealer align it to specs and they had no issues. I tow a travel trailer with no issues. After 3 years no regrets. The lower tailgate height has made it a lot easier to work out of the truck. And it looks cool

   Installed the 44050 kit on my 2015 Ram.I feel the parts are high quality and easy to install but the front lowering spindles widen the front track width and stick the tire tread 3/4" out of the wheel wells! Yeah, maybe your woman won't notice but i see it! And it throws road slime up the side of the truck too! I like the 20" factory wheels i picked and don't want to buy new to change the offset.Looks like OE style flares are in my future which is a compromise and added expense.Just sayin!So you know!

   After much research I chose the 2009-2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 2wd 2/4 Economy Drop Kit - McGaughys Part Number 44050 for my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab. From start to finish and all alone I completed the install for both front and rear in about 4.5 hours and with just hand tools and portable jacks. Everything worked as promised with no surprises and the look and ride is incredible!!! I am running 275/55/20s all the way round with no issues. Definitely recommend McGaughys and would use again in the future for my lowering needs.

   Just finished installing this kit on my 2014 ram. This kit was so easy to install. Took me around 5 hrs to install with hand tools, a hurt elbow and a couple of smoke breaks. I love the stance. And the ride in my opinion is better than factory. I did go ahead and install the airlift 60818 helper bags while i had the springs out just so i don't have to worm them in later. I would definitely recommend this kit.

    Spend the extra money to get the drop spindle kit instead of the coil springs in the front you won't be disappointed and to top it off delivery was fast. I'm running 2/4 on 275 55 20 with no problems at all
